NGE THE WORLD... A
As the year starts gathering speed
towards its finish line, I’m reminded
Ahow much this community carries
in both hands — the busy days, the small
celebrations, and the quiet ways people
keep showing up for one another.
This month’s issue reflects that energy.
We have stories of creativity and calm,
festive inspiration for the season ahead,
and a look at the people who make learning,
driving, growing, and belonging feel a little
easier for the rest of us.
You’ll find pieces that celebrate
craftsmanship, community effort, safer
roads, confident young drivers, and the kind
of educational spaces where children are
seen as whole human beings. There’s also
a reminder — one close to my own heart —
that when we understand children better,
we support them better. And of course,
we highlight the residents and partners
who planted thousands of trees in the rain
simply because they care about the place
we all call home.
It’s a simple truth, but one worth repeating: Wishing you a gentle, connected start to the WINNER
community isn’t an accident. It’s built festive season. Jennifer Heslop is the
gesture by gesture, morning by morning, Nicola
person by person. winner of the Six33
Nicola@EIAPublishing.co.za Competition. Congrats!
