Captain’s Open Day
On Wednesday, 31 July, Abie Grundlingh
hosted the second edition of the, now annual,
Captain’s Open Day. Abie invited captains,
managers, golf pros, and committee members
from all the neighbouring golf courses. We
had participation from 16 clubs and three lady
captains’ fourballs.
The idea behind the day was to mingle and
share ideas among our neighbouring courses.
Everyone had a fantastic day out on the
course, which concluded with a prizegiving
dinner. The top honours went to Krugersdorp
Golf Club, which made an impressive 87
points in tough conditions.
