Daniel Slabbert Shines
on the International
Stage
On Tuesday, 19 August, we were proud to see our very own
Daniel Slabbert claim victory at the G4D Tour @ Betfred British
Masters (Net). In a thrilling finish at the prestigious Belfry Hotel
& Resort, Daniel showed composure, defeating Joshua Exequiel
Riccardo on the second play-off hole to secure an international
victory. A left-leg amputee, Daniel sealed the victory with a solid
par on the second extra hole. Well done, Daniel.
A Week of Holes-in-One at Centurion CC!
What are the odds? This weekend of
16 & 17 August, two of our members
achieved golf’s most magical shot!
On Saturday, 16 August, Phil Miles
aced the Par 3, 3rd hole. Incredibly,
the very next day Jacques Wickens
followed it up with his own hole-in-one,
his 6th career ace and unbelievably
his 3rd hole-in-one on the 3rd hole!
A huge congratulations to both Phil
and Jacques, proof that lightning
really can strike twice here at
Centurion CC!
