Multi-billion rand solar project reaches commercial close

             CWA Power’s Redstone 100 MW
             concentrated solar power (CSP)
        Aproject has achieved commercial
close status. The project, part of South
        Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent
        Power Producer Procurement Programme
(REIPPPP), was originally awarded in 2015
but was postponed until a contract with
Eskom was signed in April 2018.
Project financing will be arranged by
Absa, which has been appointed as the lead
arranger, senior lender and hedge provider
for the multi-billion-rand project. The bank
says it will participate in the overall senior
        debt financing package with approximately
R1,5-billion of senior debt term facilities
for the project. Other financiers include
including African Development Bank period - to reach 100% of design capacity. Commencement of operations is scheduled for Q4 2023.

Compact reflex photoelectric sensor for glass bottle detection

nstrotech is offering the Selet model OCV56T/C photoelectric sensors (block type) for optical OCV56T/C key features:
detection of bottles (glass or PET with a good degree of transparency), of any shape, depth or • Mechanical size: 50 x 50 x 18 mm
Icolour. The operating principle of the OCV56T/C sensor is based on a high-tech optical system, • Reflex with reflecto type
ensuring an excellent result if normal optical sensors are not suitable or reliable. The functionality • Suitable for glass or PET bottles detection
is programmed by the “Teach” button: manual or automatic sensitivity setup, light/dark selection. • Plastic housing
