High-performance display and control of process conditions

can be particularly well monitored and In addition to managing data acquisition, visualisation and storage, controllers nowadays have
represented with large displays and traffic to make measured values and histories available at any time and any place. With their multitude of
light warning systems. These help operating functions, VEGAMET series 140, 340 and 800 controllers also offer more complex tasks such as pump
staff to quickly grasp even complex processes control, flow measurement, totalisation, data logging and calculation, including differential, summing

and more efficient. The VEGAMET series is mounting, connecting and commissioning, it extends right through to daily operation”, adds Ralf Höll.

display offers options for a clear, well-arranged
visualisation of measurement data. The display
is particularly large in relation to the small
size of the controller itself, which provides an
overview that’s really easy to take in – even
from a distance and in broad daylight. Via a
smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth, users
can still access the controller from even further
away. In this way, they can parameterise the
device remotely and monitor measured values
        away from hazardous zones.

All-in-one computer cabinet offers wide ranging protection

ilicon Engineering recently teamed up with EverExceed to introduce a unique
Splug-and-play data centre computer cabinet with all auxiliaries included. The
company’s Smart IT cabin solution is a simple plug-in cabinet, 42U rack size, for IT
professionals, saving huge amounts of time, money and effort.
This solution, being highly integrated, offers the advantage of having only one
standard cabinet to house and provides constant operating conditions for all the IT
equipment. This unit is a real space-saver, occupying only 0,7 m2. It’s sturdy too,
with a 2 mm double layer cold rolled steel housing. A special heat insulation material
        helps to save energy.
The cabinet’s well-designed air conditioning and air circulation system ensures
cleanliness, temperature and humidity monitoring with an alarm, thereby extending
the life of the IT equipment it houses. The system uses a quiet, built-in fan which
means that the unit does not need to be installed in a separate room but could even
be placed in a busy office.
The built-in UPS and lithium battery with a smart 220 V AC plug-in bus system
ensures that the IT equipment remains operational during power outages and is
protected from power surges and brown-outs.
A large seven-inch (178 mm) LCD display provides clear and easy monitoring of
all equipment operation. There is also a built-in GSM module which provides SMS
alarm functionality which is able to send safety information to remote smartphones.
The cabinet also includes a built-in monitoring card which provides full-day
remote monitoring, a smart PDU as well as an integrated fire-protection system. n
