An ADVENTURE
Awaits…
RiSE Curriculum
At Treverton, we continually seek ways to nurture and develop our students’ personal agency. We aim to help them
develop key life skills such as effective goal setting, emotional management, problem-solving, & conflict resolution.
These are the essential tools for becoming responsible, capable citizens. We have identified an opportunity to overhaul
how we approach Life Orientation, Bible Education, mentor periods, and Outdoor Pursuits, creating a more holistic and
intentional synergy to focus on personal growth.
The RiSE Program benefits students in Grades 8 & 9. This program starts laying the foundation for personal
development, empowering students to manage themselves, build resilience, and gain a deeper understanding of their
roles in society. The goal is to cultivate the kind of students who embody HEART—those who are grounded, emotionally
intelligent, and ready for the challenges of life. Ultimately, the RiSE Program will help our students become the best
versions of themselves, allowing Treverton to continue being the special place where students thrive, grow, and feel
genuinely cared for.

270 Hectare Campus
At Treverton, wide open spaces are part of who we are; our campus spans a total of 270 hectares. It comprises a wildlife
area that is home to Zebras, Blesboks, Hartebeests, and other plains game. It also houses our equestrian centre, complete
with a livery, lunging ring, dressage arena, show-jumping arena, cross-country course and temporary stables for the two
shows we host each year. The school dam lends itself to many activities that are deeply ingrained in our traditions. The
Polar Bear Club, for example, is the perfect place to learn new skills, try new things, or perfect arts and crafts as part of a
training schedule or even for fun weekend activities like ziplining, fishing, and swimming.
This safe and secure space is bordered by farmlands and a Golf Course, giving it an authentic country feel, removed from
the city. Our learners thrive while making real connections, life-long memories and intense bonds. Their surroundings are
a testament to their faith and an opportunity to test their limits.
This outdoor classroom is more than just a campus; it is a home.
