                     REMINDERS


                  As business draws to a close
                     for 2022, here are a few
                 pointers that residents should
                           take note of:

                CONTRACTORS’ SHUTDOWN PERIOD
                The  contractors’  shutdown  period  will  officially
                commence from 15 December at 14h00.  They
                will resume working on 9 January 2023. Building
                contractors will not be allowed access into the estate
                during the shutdown period.
                Considering  that there will  be no construction
                activities on the stands, it is of paramount importance
                that the stands are left in a secured condition and that
                their  appearance complies with  stipulations  in the
                Management and  Conduct Rules.  The site  screening
                in particular needs to be neat and secured, taking into
                consideration prevailing weather conditions.
                STANDBY GENERATORS
                There is an increase in the usage of standby generators
                on the estate as a direct result of load shedding. We
                should all be considerate to our neighbours in this
                regard.

                In the Management and Conduct Rules, the Blue Valley
                Home Owners Association (BVHOA) stipulates in vide
                clause 5.3 of the Residential Design Guidelines that a
                maximum noise level of 50 dBA is allowed during the
                day and 40 dBA during the night.
                Any complaint concerning noise levels should be
                reported to the Security control room for investigation
                at the following numbers: 011 512 0856 or 060 586
                9406. This includes complaints about the dBA readings.
                HADDINGTON GATE
                The gate will be operational as per the normal hours i.e.
                from 05h00 to 20h00, for residents only.
