he old bird hide on the big dam,
left, was an all-time favourite for
Tmore than 20 years. It has come
to the end of its lifetime as extensive
renovation was needed to keep it in
good condition and safe for all.

The old bird hide will be fondly
remembered for anything from
wedding photos to first kisses, matric
farewell photos to the big one that got
away.

It is being replaced with a new, bigger
structure, above, that I believe will
serve a larger audience and for all to
enjoy. We trust that the new platform
will serve as a great gathering place
and tranquil sunset spot alike.

Do take care while construction is
ongoing, and soon we will enjoy it to
the fullest for years to come.

Be blessed over the festive season,
enjoy some family time and we
