Here is a summary of the important information
that was sent per general email to all residents
during the last few weeks to take note of.
Dear Residents,
Below is a summary on
relevant comments sent
out in the Weekly Report
on the latest Estate
happenings over the last
few weeks:
• Cornwall Hill College has purchased
stand 442 in Downderry road adjacent
to the College and registration took
place in 2018. They approached the
estate to alienate the property from the
estate to integrate it into the College
and readjust the perimeter fence. The
directors consulted with the neighbours
and approved it, subject to certain
conditions: The College must build a wall,
similar to the existing perimeter wall on
the three sides bordering the estate. This
will improve the estates security and will
create a sound barrier.
• The College will do some interior
alterations to accommodate the need
for facilities for the pre-school. They
experienced a sinkhole and had to put
up temporary structures and move some
classes for the time being to the open
area at the hostel next to the estates
contractor’s entrance.
• The College received approval for their
building plans and the building of the
wall will start shortly. We will keep the
pedestrian school gate entrance in
Downderry road, but the entrance will
now be next to the road and the small
pedestrian footpath will fall inside the
new College area.
