ESTATE EVENT
ELEGANTLY GINA he CCHOA would like
to thank all residents
for their willingness to
participate in activities
Tat the Fun Day held
recently. These functions are arranged
to promote pride amongst residents
and have shown a wonderful sense of
community spirit. Some of the activities
included were a market with 16 stalls,
five braais and sundowners with fellow
residents and neighbours.
Fundowners Volleyball was quite a
success, attracting more teams than
anticipated but resulting (even with
shortened games) in us unfortunately
running out of time and daylight
to complete all the play-offs. Teams
ranged from complete novices to the
skilled and competitive, and the spirit
of fun was evident throughout, with
generous leeway for the new players.
Two teams were dominant, displaying
high skills levels that made it unlikely
that they would fall to another team in
a playoff; prizes were awarded to Jokes
Aside Fitness as the overall winner and
Red-Hot Chillies as runners up.
Next time we’ll start earlier and get
some extra games in!
