ESTATE MATTERS

he park's opening coincided with the annual
Spring Walk, attracting a large crowd of
Tfamilies and friends. Estate manager Graham
Jones expressed his excitement about the project,
stating: "This has been a vision of mine for some
time. We now have a beautiful space where people
can come together, relax, and enjoy the natural
             surroundings."

One of the highlights of Mongoose Park is a viewing
deck overlooking a large quarry. The area was
cleared to provide a scenic and peaceful spot for
visitors to enjoy. Graham and his team are also
working on plans to install a mountain bike track in
             the park.

Board member and spokesperson, Peter Morey,
emphasized the importance of Mongoose Park as a
community hub. He explained: "We want this space
to be a place where families can come together,
socialize, and enjoy various activities. We're planning
to host regular events like movie nights and karaoke."

The name "Mongoose Park" was chosen in honour
of a family of mongooses that reside nearby. Peter
added: "This park is all about bringing the community
together and fostering a sense of belonging."
