n African Fish Eagle (Afr. Visarend) with
a fresh catch, likely a small Barbel,
Aphotographed at Rietvlei Nature Reserve.

Moments after the strike, the eagle was pursued
by a Grey-headed Gull (Afr. Gryskopmeeu), a
classic scene of rivalry over food on the water.

I used a Canon EOS R7 + RF800mm f/11 lens
| f/11 | 1/3200 sec | ISO 3200 to capture the
image.
