THOSE wERE THE DAYS!
Golf Days have been a firm favourite at the Dainfern Golf Club since its
inception. They have been great for the corporates who enjoy promoting 2016
their brands and networking at the same time. They have also proven to
be a successful way of raising funds for charities and various projects.
In this photo-feature, Dainfern resident, Charmaine Ellis shares some
events held at the Dainfern Golf Club that she has been involved in over
the years.
ARK ANIMAL
CENTRE
Founded and run by Tracy Otto,
along with her daughters, Candice,
Kristy and Cara, the Ark Animal
Centre, which was situated in
Chartwell, played an important role 2015
in the community as a rescue and
rehabilitation facility for abused and
neglected dogs and puppies. Their
annual golf day help them to fund
the building of their sterilisation
clinic, maternity and puppy shelters,
charity shop and tuck shop.
Unfortunately, in May this year, Tracy
decided to close the centre, passing
the reins over to the Woodrock
Animal Rescue Centre.
We would like to thank Tracy and
her family for their dedication and
commitment to the welfare of the
many dogs in need that they nurtured
and re-homed, and wish them well for
their future endeavours.
