There are actually so many different genres that

This is an ammonite fossil, (above). They became
extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period,
at roughly the same time that the dinosaurs
disappeared. Ammonites were closely related to the
octopus, squid and cuttlefish and they get their name
from the Egyptian god, Ammon, who was frequently
depicted wearing rams’ horns. Although it’s difficult
to gauge the size from a photo, this specimen
found in the Cambanos showroom is roughly the
size of a small coffee table.

They also have a fabulous selection of painted
ostrich eggs, some of which are mounted and
others that can be bought separately. These, by
