THE BIG PICTURE
HOME FRONT
Dainfern Golf Estate has long been known as a community that values excellence, and
two of its youngest residents are proving that greatness can start early. Meet Jules
(9) and Clément Blondeau Benite (11) — brothers, athletes and international golfing
sensations whose journey is inspiring not only our community but also the world.
WORLD-CLASS PERFORMANCES
In July 2025, the boys represented their
family, school and country at the Champion
of Champions World Championship in
Northern Ireland — an invitation-only event
that gathers 250 of the best young golfers
from around the globe to crown one true
champion in each age group.
•Jules rose above the competition with
three stellar rounds, finishing on top of
the leaderboard to become the U9 World
Champion.
•Clément impressed in the Boys U12
division, holding 3rd place after the first two
rounds before facing a tough challenge in
the final stretch, finishing 11th overall — a
result that underlines both his skill and his
potential to rise even higher.
A GLOBAL JOURNEY, ROOTED IN
SOUTH AFRICA
Although listed under the French flag at
international tournaments due to their dual
nationality, Jules and Clément’s story begins
right here. They were born in Johannesburg
and now call Dainfern Golf Estate their
home. Their journey has also taken them
across the world, with formative years spent
in South Korea and Japan, experiences that
shaped their resilience, discipline and global
outlook.
They proudly represent South Africa in
spirit — showing that African-born athletes
can shine among the best in the world. With
French and Australian nationalities and
Rwandan heritage, they also embody the
diversity and inclusivity that make modern
sport such a powerful global connector.
PREPARATION AT THE HIGHEST
LEVEL
To prepare for their World Championship
success, the brothers were invited in July
2025 to train at Le Golf Nationale in Paris,
the iconic venue of the 2018 Ryder Cup MORE THAN JUST GOLFERS
and the golf events of the 2024 Summer
Olympics. Under the guidance of the French Beyond golf, both boys are all-round athletes. At the American International School
