rain, The Club team nevertheless
forged ahead with setting up
Nfor the Wine Fair at the Tennis
Gazebo (Lapa), and what a stunning day it
turned out to be!

The rain stayed away and the slightly cooler
weather was perfect for enjoying both red
and white wines.

Leading the African rankings at the World’s
Best Vineyards 2021, Creation has just
been ranked 10th globally. They brought
a selection of their distinctive wines along.
Constantia Glen, Neil Ellis and Leeuenkuil
were also on show, with a total of 14 wines for
tasting at this month’s tasting! Leeuwenkuil
Rosé was a top performing wine on the
day, and Creation Sauvignon Blanc proved
especially popular – unsurprising picks for
hot Highveld summers!
Our lucky prize winner, Jenny Mitchell,
was the envy of many and won a superb
selection of wines: Leeuwenkuil Reserve
Red 2018, Neil Ellis Groenekloof Syrah 2018,
Constantia Glen Five 2017 and Creation
Pinot Noir.

eager sampling of the wines – we’re sure
that you have found some new favourites!
