EASTER EGG HUNT
2022
Rather late than never!! And that is just what we did.
D ue to inclement weather, we had to postpone our Easter
Egg Hunt until after the Easter weekend this year. This,
however, did not dampen the mood or the crowd!
A small army of eager children congregated on The Club lawn area
on the Sunday morning at 9am! After they set off, a crazy hunt
ensued to find the 3 000 hidden Easter eggs in the park.
The hunt was split into two age groups, one group on each side of
the stream. The one to five year olds searched on the gazebo side
and six to 10 year olds on the Clubhouse side. There were definitely
some who were more successful than others in sniffing out the
eggs, but it was heartwarming to see them help each other and
share.
Thankfully, our Easter Bunny also had some extra eggs on hand for
the little ones who were unfortunately late. The hunt was followed
by face painting and balloon art under the tennis gazebo, while the
parents enjoyed cups of coffee.
We extend our sincere thanks to Philip and Adam from Lew Geffen
Sotheby’s Fourways for sponsoring this exciting morning for our
younger residents!
Great fun was had by all and hopefully, next year, we will be able to
re-introduce our morning games!
