                EASTER

             EGG HUNT

         Sunday 26 March 2023

                          o sleeping in on this
                          Sunday morning!!
                     NOur eager and
         excited Easter Egg enthusiasts were
determined not to miss the Easter Egg hunt.
Upon arriving and seeing the decorations
were in place, along with evidence that
the Easter Bunny had already visited the
grounds, the young’uns had to exercise
great self-control. It was tough to follow so
many rules regarding where to search and
how many Easter eggs they could collect
when the place was buzzing with so much
         excitement.

No sooner was the go-ahead given than the
frenzy began! With face painters and balloon
artists providing entertainment for the early
finishers, games were set to begin on the
lawn, with many Easter Eggs having met
         their demise already! Egg-and-spoon, three-
legged, and sack races drew participants
across all ages with varying levels of athletic
         prowess on display!

Some races called for intense concentration,
while the sack race saw staggering springiness
in the pursuit of chocolate bunnies and
hollow eggs. Even our sponsors from Lew
Geffen Sotheby’s took part in the parents’
races! With an Easter Bunny hopping about,
there were plenty of photo opportunities
and some excited (and some uncertain) faces.
Our sponsors, Lew Geffen Sotheby’s made
sure that the day was a great success, and we
thank them for their continued support of
         this highlight at Fourways Gardens.
