MOVIE
NIGHT
Saturday, 15 April
resh popcorn – who can resist? Over
400 people attended our first Movie
Night of 2023, making it a great
Fsuccess. Alongside the popcorn,
glow-in-the-dark bracelets and light-up pop
pipes were at the Univest table and drew
lots of excitement. The autumn chill in the air
didn’t cool the anticipation – and we started
the movie as soon after 6pm as we could,
ensuring that load shedding didn’t spoil the
fun either!
The Greatest Showman was our movie for the
evening. It was great entertainment for the
whole family with more than a few familiar
songs. The Gardens Café Bistro and Bar team
operated a tuck shop with grab-and-go meals
and the usual cinema favourites.
Keri and Mark from Univest were the friendly
faces handing out the popcorn and goodies.
We thank them for their partnership and for
helping to make Movie Night a showpiece in
our social calendar.
With so many treasured memories that the
event sparked, the next movie event is bound
to be well supported, so make sure you book
as soon as the next Movie Night is publicised.
