TRICK OR TREAT AT FOURWAYS GARDENS

ourways Gardens, we did it again!
Our Trick or Treat is the talk of
the town, and this year, we had
Fapproximately one thousand sugar
seekers! The FOMO only grew stronger
as the 5pm start approached and with
armbands in place, and empty Trick or Treat
baskets, buckets or pumpkins (or skulls or
pillowcases) in hand, our Trick or Treaters
began scouring the neighbourhood.
The streets of Phase 2 were packed
with costumed Trick or Treaters of every
description and age – what a sight it was!

This year brought two key changes: children
needed to register to participate, and the
Sweetie Spot was hosted in just one phase.
The community enthusiastically rallied to
contribute to the sugar stockpile provided
to Sweetie Spot hosting homes, helping to
bolster their supplies. The HOA also hosted
its own Sweetie Spot, the Wonka Candy Lab,
featuring Turkish Delight, chilli chewing
gum, eyeball bubble gum, macaron biscuit
sweets, and other rare treats. We went to
great lengths to source unique sweets,
ensuring the Candy Lab was fully stocked
and truly special!

Of course, Trick or Treat requires a show-
stopping Traffic Circle display, and the Jawitz
Properties display rose to the occasion.
Without their generous sponsorship, Trick
or Treat just would not have been the same!
Jawitz Properties also hosted a Sweetie
Spot on Camdeboo Road, in the middle of
the main route, delighting Trick or Treaters!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our
sponsors, the hosts of Sweetie Spots and
Sweetie Tables, and all the residents who
contributed to the sugar stockpile or a
Sweetie Spot. Without the generosity of
this incredible community, Trick or Treat
would not be possible!
