QUIZ NIGHT

Friday 24 May

e had to wait five weeks for
this Quiz Night after April’s
Quiz Night, and this gave
Wour teams some extra time
to study up! With cash prizes ready and
hampers catching our attention, our Quiz
Night got started. As always Dayle ensured
we were challenged to remember those
pesky facts we were convinced we’d never
forget, and we were reminded to use our
inside voices so that competing teams did
not gain an advantage from our brainy
teammates!

Third place was won by the Team of the
Month, who lost out on second place by
half a point! The Winesteins proved that
they’re not a one-hit-wonder and came in
at second place. The Jilted Friends certainly
didn’t find luck leaving them at the altar
and came first with a respectable 63 points!
Then came the lucky hamper draw, and the
Heineken and biltong hamper was won by
Keith Fowler with Zelna Forsyth winning
the coveted cheese and wine hamper.
