FOURWAYS ROAD RUNNERS TAKE ON THE

SPAR WOMEN’S CHALLENGE!

he Fourways Road Runners
proudly represented our
community at this year’s SPAR
TWomen’s Challenge, held at
Marks Park Sports Club in Emmarentia,
Johannesburg, on Sunday, 5 October
2025.

SPAR Fourways Gardens Shopping Centre
sponsored 10 entries for our team to
join thousands of women celebrating
fitness, strength, and community spirit.
The event brought together elite athletes
and recreational runners alike in a day
marked by energy, camaraderie, and
achievement.

Marks Park buzzed with activity as
companies and local businesses set up
colourful stalls, transforming the venue
into a lively village filled with music,
giveaways, and treats. Amidst the sea of
gazebos, the Fourways Road Runners’
tent became a cheerful hub of support
and celebration.

For our runners, the day was about more
than just the race – it was an opportunity
to represent Fourways Gardens and
embody our shared values of wellness,
connection, and participation.

Congratulations to all the Fourways
Road Runners who took part, and our
