QUIZ NIGHT

tarting Quiz Night early this
year, we kicked off the 2025
Quiz Season at Fourways
SGardens on Friday, 24 January.
Surprisingly, we had a packed venue for
January of eager Quizzers, ready to test
their mettle and win cash prizes and
bragging rights. Our top performers
in the 2024 League were present, with
Quiz Master Dayle introducing some
new rules for the 2025 league to make
it more competitive, including a one-
quiz pass in the 2025 Quiz League cycle.

As always, Dayle presented us with
a challenging and entertaining quiz.
There were many times when teams
hotly contested the answers before
locking in their entries. With fellow
teams marking the quiz sheets, there
were no free points, and Dayle audited
the results before announcing the
winners, as always.

Sponsors Club Real Estate handed out
the prizes, and third place went to the
vanHyams Crew, with The Inconclusives
putting in a strong showing to come
second. The Horny Rhinos clinched
first place – well done! The lucky
draw hamper with delicious Geldhof
Chocolates was won by Daniel Hyams.

If you missed this Quiz Night, it’s not
too late to join the 2025 League, as this
month’s quiz was a warm-up round, and
the League will kick off in earnest with
the February Quiz. Be sure to book a
table for your team of up to six people
with The Gardens Bistro and show us
what you’re made of!
