              NEW RESIDENTS

             MEET AND GREET

                     Thursday, 27 March

pleasantly mild evening set the perfect stage for
welcoming the newest members of the Fourways
Gardens community. While some guests had just moved
A in, others were attending their first Meet and Greet after
         missing previous gatherings.

Live entertainment was provided by the talented Lia Black, whose
engaging stage presence and international repertoire brought
a vibrant energy to the evening. Known for her interactive style,
Lia invited song requests – with a playful twist: if she didn’t know
the requested song, the requester had to sing it themselves! This
light-hearted challenge sparked laughter and helped set a cheerful,
         relaxed tone for the night.

Representing the Board of Directors, Richard Hurly and Maggs
Moonsamy, along with Estate Manager Charlene Marlin, warmly
welcomed everyone. Several attendees shared personal stories
about how they came to be part of Fourways Gardens, with a
common thread emerging – many were drawn by the strong sense
of community and the family-friendly lifestyle. It was a wonderful
reminder to all: if you spot someone new at an upcoming event,
don’t hesitate to say hello – you might find you have more in
         common than you think.
The Gardens Bistro delighted guests with a generous cheese board
and a variety of delicious dishes, perfect for the cooler evening
air. For the younger residents, the make-your-own pizza station
was a clear favourite – though it had some competition from the
         excitement of making new friends!

Adding an extra touch, several activity providers donated vouchers,
allowing new residents to explore the wide array of activities
available within the estate. These thoughtful contributions reflect
just how much Fourways Gardens offers beyond its beautiful
         surroundings.
Then, without warning, the heavens opened! Thankfully, it was near
the end of the event, and we scrambled to clear tables and pack
         equipment away.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. For those who missed this
event, we look forward to seeing you at the next Meet and Greet,
         details will be announced soon.
         Welcome home!
