BINGO!

A Saturday Night Hit

at FWG

n Saturday, 5 April 2025, The
Gardens Bistro buzzed with
excitement as 98 enthusiastic
Oguests gathered for the very
first Bingo Night at FWG – and what a night
it was! From 17h30 onwards, the venue
filled rapidly with families and friends, all
eager to mark off their cards and shout the
magic word.
With such an overwhelming turnout,
we had to open the restaurant doors to
accommodate extra tables. The spirit was
undeniable, with every seat taken and the
sound of laughter and friendly competition
all around!

Dayle, our much-loved and ever-
entertaining quiz master, took the reins
for the evening and brought her signature
charm and humour to the event. Four
exciting rounds of traditional bingo were
played – though in hindsight, five rounds
would’ve been just right for the crowd’s
enthusiasm. Among the highlights was a
lively Music Bingo segment, where entire
tables teamed up to guess the tunes. It
was a refreshing twist that had everyone
laughing and enjoying a bit of playful
rivalry.

The atmosphere was electric, the prizes
were well-received, and the sentiment was
unanimous – we’ll most definitely be doing
this again. Whether you were there to win
or just to soak up the fun, Bingo Night was
an absolute hit.
With such a successful debut, another
Bingo Night is already on the cards – so
keep an eye out and your dabbers ready.
This is just the beginning of what promises
to be a much-loved addition to the FWG
social calendar.
