Friday, 29 August
t Fourways Gardens Residential
Estate, the last Friday of every
month is more than just another
AFriday – it’s the night of our ever-
popular Monthly Draw, proudly sponsored
by Century 21. Friday, 29 August, was
no exception. With live music filling the
air, friends and families catching up, and
children playing in the park beside The
Gardens Bistro, the Monthly Draw is more
than just a chance to win – it’s a night of
fun that brings the Fourways Gardens
community closer together.
With a R6,000 cash kitty and lucky draws
up for grabs, the restaurant was already
buzzing by 6pm, conversations flowing as
residents dropped their entries and raised
their glasses.
Our Estate Manager, Charlene Marlin, kept
the crowd in suspense as she announced
each winner. Assisting her were some of
the children, who eagerly drew slips from
the box. The restaurant rang with cheer
and applause as the names were revealed,
proving that our Monthly Draw is as much
about fun and connection, as it is about
prizes.
On the prize table for the evening were two
generous hampers, two chances to “Burn
the Bill” – giving the lucky diners R500 off
their Gardens Bistro tab – and, of course,
the much-anticipated R6,000 cash kitty.
This month’s winners were Spencer Reed
in the kids’ draw and Frank Gregory and
Kim Louw in the adults’ draw. The lucky
“Burn the Bill” winners, Ana Myburgh and
Sean Laval, each enjoyed R500 off their
bill for the evening. As for the grand cash
kitty, there was no winner this time, which
means September’s draw will roll over to an
exciting R7,500 prize.
From live music to good food, laughter, and
the thrill of prizes, August’s Monthly Draw
had it all. September promises to be even
bigger, with R7,500 in cash up for grabs.
