Festive Recipes



            The Festive Season is just as easily celebrated outdoors in the fresh air, as an

            alternative to the traditional indoor family gathering at the dinner table. Here
            are two excellent complements to add zest to your next braai.

            Looking for a rice salad with a difference? Try this one.     Classic Aperol Spritz
                Wild Rice and Baby Spinach Salad               Aperol is a bright orange aperitif with

                                                               Aperol spritzes are ultra-refreshing, bubbly cocktails. A proper
            YOu WILL NEED                                      Aperol spritz tastes like summertime in Italy and looks like a
            180ml wild brown rice mixture                      golden orange sunset.
            625ml water                                         Aperol spritz cocktails are unbelievably easy to make.
            10ml  Ina Paarman’s Vegetable                       No cocktail shaker or fancy equipment required!
                 Stock Powder
            1 large carrot, coarsely grated                    INGREDIENTS (per cocktail)
            2 apples, grated                                   Ice
            1 large celery stalk, finely sliced                3 ounces (1 part) Aperol
            125ml seedless raisins                             3 ounces (1 part) dry Prosecco
            1 large handful baby spinach                       1  ounce (a splash) club soda or unflavoured
            Ina Paarman’s Vegetable Spice                       sparkling water
            60ml pumpkin seeds, toasted                        Orange slice, for garnish
