Rooibos tea
Rooibos tea fits in well with the concept of the hygge lifestyle. It has an earthy
flavour, health benefits and a natural sweetness. Here are a couple of recipes
using Rooibos, perfect for a chilly winter’s evening:
Rooibos hot chocolate Rooibos and Apple Cider
Ingredients Ingredients
Two cups brewed Rooibos Four cups apple cider
Two cups milk or dairy-free alternative Four Rooibos sachets
Half a cup dark chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate One cinnamon stick
One tablespoon cocoa powder One orange, sliced
One tablespoon sugar or sweetener One apple, sliced
One teaspoon vanilla extract Two tablespoons honey
Whipped cream and cinnamon (optional, for garnish) Four whole cloves and/or star anise
