ENVIRONMENTAL CORNER
LANDSCAPING
After the recent rains, our parks and landscaped
areas have flourished, leading to overgrown sec-
tions and paved areas covered in weeds.
Our appointed service provider, Life Land-
scapes, is attending to a much needed clean-
up of all areas, removing weeds and installing
plants in barren spots. We are closely monitor-
ing their work to ensure that they deliver the
high standard of landscaping our estate de-
serves. The re-landscaping project of the main
and bottom gates is planned to commence once
the bottom gate upgrade has been completed.
MULTI-USE FACILITY
After a recent inspection of the ground here, the
area is still very saturated, resulting in under-
ground water seeping up and the formation of
holes. The area is unsafe and the facility will
remain closed until further notice.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
PHAMBILI SERVICES
RECYCLE
You can separate all your recycling materials into one bag or
box and put it outside your gate on your collection days once
a week. Phambili has an SLA in place for residents, estates
and complexes who wish to join the recycling initiative (R28.50
ex VAT per household). A copy can be requested via email:
marianne@phambiliservices.co.za or via WhatsApp on 082
460 8662.
Phambili currently diverts between 150 to 200 tons from
landfills in Midrand each month, which helps protect the
environment and reduces waste going to landfills.
Please feel free to get your trustees or managing agents to
contact us for more details.
