Our community continues to flourish with exciting
developments, meaningful initiatives and memorable
events.
The support during our Father’s Day Teddy Bear Drive
was a special moment to hand over the teddy bears to
Jani van Rooyen, who conveyed the Nelson Mandela
Children’s Hospital’s sincere gratitude for residents’
generosity.
A wonderful Christmas in July event took place, and
children enjoyed classic carnival games, face painting
and balloon animals. Everyone indulged in a delightful
variety of food stalls and the magical Christmas tree and
Santa were show stoppers of the evening.
Children enjoyed a magical afternoon at the library with
a Pyjama Day-themed reading session. Snuggled up in
their cozy PJs, they were treated to delightful stories that
sparked imagination and joy. A heartfelt thank you to
Loren Drummond for the storytelling, and to our library
volunteers for their time and dedication.
A fabulous pamper session took place on Saturday
9 August in celebration of Women’s Day, which was
dedicated to wellness, pampering and togetherness and
began with a tranquil yoga session.
