especially school children, had to be
managed around the work zone to
prevent injuries. Access to the newly laid
concrete had to be restricted until it had
fully cured.
SALI Award and judges’ comments
For this project, Perfect Bounce received a
Platinum award in the 2025 SALI Awards of
Excellence. It was entered in the category
of specialised Construction.
The judges commented as follows: “A
well-constructed project, with the scope
of construction adhered to. The previous
slabs had to be broken up with a TLB,
and the school’s cricket training area
experiences heavy foot traffic during
practice. Dimensions were met and the
pitches are spectacular! A job well done!
