the second most prevalent diagnosis in Caucasian children
in South Africa is a variety of brain tumours. Treatment
is dependent on the diagnosis and can include surgery,
chemotherapy and radiation. The time frame for treatment
can vary between six months to two years. CANSA TLC offers
parental lodging free of charge, including laundry, sanitary
items, toiletries, meals, food parcels, terminal, emotional and
spiritual support. They offer workshops and invite people to
