Photography 101

recently visited our game reserve taking
some photos and getting inspiration for
I my next article, but I could not seem to
get the current Covid-19 virus situation out
of my mind. I was thinking about the risks of
being in crowds and suddenly realised that
I was all by myself... We are blessed to have
a beautiful game reserve on our doorstep.
Why not spend some time there taking
photographs, or even in our gardens?
Our game reserve is home to 13 species
of antelope and more than 170 species of
birds. With all of these animals and birds
on our doorstep, and with most of the
antelopes used to people walking in the
game reserve, you have a rare opportunity
as a photographer to get close and personal
with these animals for some unique shots.
Not only that, but they will stand still and
allow you to change the settings on your
camera to see what other options would
work. A great opportunity to experiment.
