NEWS FROM THE ANGLING CLUB

iving in Silver Lakes, I think we
sometimes forget how privileged
Lwe are, especially when it comes
to angling. We have a safe and beautiful
environment where we can cast away at
leisure – and this, just a short walk from
our doorsteps.

Please help us protect our investment
by adhering to the Silver Lakes Angling
Club rules. There have been incidences of
people using nets to catch fish in our dams.
This goes against our rules and is unethical
in a “catch and release” environment.

To further improve the Silver Lakes angling
experience, we will have a social event
every second month in 2022. We hope to
see all our members there. We will post a
programme for the year in the next edition.

Our Chip & Fish event took place on 27 and
28 November. It was a great event and we
look forward to the next one. Make sure
that you enter your team; all skill levels are
welcome.

With the warmer weather our members
have been out there, and here are some
pics of their catches. Enjoy!
