QUIZ NIGHT AT FAIRWAYS

e had another fun
Quiz Night at Fairways
WRestaurant on Tuesday,
9 November. The house was full, the
noise was tumultuous and the teams
were very competitive! Our winning
team, who won by a clear three points,
were Brainshedding se Push; well
done to Mads de Wet, Vanessa Brown,
Chantal le Roux, Mike Brown, Wimpie
le Roux and Niël de Wet (see photo,
right) – it was a well-earned victory!

Big Fact Hunt (careful with this one)
took second place, and our Best Team
Name prize went to Stage 6 Load
Shedding when they plunged Fairways
into complete darkness as I read their
name out – nice touch, guys!

We would like to thank Jed and his
team, who, as always, looked after
us all very well and ensured that the
evening went on without any hitches.

As the year is coming to a close, it means
we have only one more Quiz Night this
year. We have brought it forward to
the first Tuesday in December, so it will
take place on 7 December. We plan to
have a few “extras” at the Christmas
Quiz, so make sure you book a table
for your team and join us for another
fun evening.

We’re hoping to have some additional
prizes, so dress up as Father Christmas
or Mother Christmas, and you could
win yourself a prize. Decorate your
table with all kinds of things, and your
team may get a fun surprise, too.
