ESTATE NEWS

             NEWS FROM THE OPERATIONS TEAM

        Pothole repairs
The Operations team would like to thank all the residents of
Silver Lakes Golf and Wildlife Estate for their patience and
understanding with regard to the pothole repairs that have been
taking place throughout the property. We have been working
on these repairs for the past two weeks following the arrival of
the rainy season, which has caused major damage to our road
        infrastructure.

Our Maintenance team prioritised the work required. Initially,
they focused attention on all potholes within the estate
boundaries. Thereafter, special attention was given to the roads
        directly outside our access gates.

As a result, our hard-working and committed Maintenance team,
led by Koot Visagie and his right-hand man, Geffrey Ngobeni,
have so far managed to attend to more than 130 potholes within
our boundaries. They have also succeeded in repairing a couple
of major potholes outside of the Muirfield security gates which
were deemed to be a risk to our residents entering and exiting
        from Solomon Mahlangu Drive.

We would like to remind residents that the maintenance of our
roads is the responsibility of the local municipality and that all
such issues and/or concerns should still be reported to our local
authorities. But as the Silver Lakes HOA, we strive to ensure that
we maintain our direct environment for our residents and assist
in conducting repairs within our boundaries.

        Walters Noordman
        Operations manager
