                  SILVER LAKES FIELD EXCURSION

he guided walk in the game reserve
focuses on how we can survive in the
Tbush, in nature. We also look at what else
we can find in the reserve, be it animal tracks or
bird species, and we examine the link between
        humans and nature.

The walk is open to all ages and involves
        educational games, learning about the
environment through play, making friends and
having a great time while in the bush.

On 26 February, we had a lovely morning walk
in the reserve and considered topics such as
spiders and their webs, and antelope and their
habits. The blesbuck, impala, common reedbuck
and sable allowed us the perfect opportunity to
spend time in nature, watching them.

        During our environmental educational session,
we focused on the spoor of various animals as
well as the role we humans play in nature. It was
a beautiful, sunny morning spent out in nature.

We are looking forward to the next one.

understand everything better.” – Albert Einstein
