ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS
e wanted fun ways for residents to
get involved in promoting road safety
Wat Silver Lakes, so we set up some
creative activities to kickstart the campaign.
The Road Safety campaign took off on 7 May with a
children’s event. It was a fun way to instil the idea
of road safety in our young ones while enabling
them to contribute to the campaign by painting
road signs for the estate. These signs are being
used on various platforms to create awareness for
our adult drivers.
We followed this up by launching a competition
inviting all residents to come up with a catchy
Silver Lakes road safety slogan. The winning slogan
was “Our Safety in Your Hands”, submitted by
Bryan Bailey.
