have launched a second campaign to improve adherence safe community for everyone – because our safety is in your hands.
Fto traffic laws and general road safety within the estate.
The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of issues such Regards
as speeding, drivers not stopping at stop signs, and the driving SLHOA
of golf carts by children and unlicensed drivers.
You will notice banners with our beautiful new road safety
designs at the two entrance gates, at the play area on the
corner of Sawgrass Avenue and Gleneagles Drive, and in the
game reserve – all this to create awareness.
We have added 40km/h speed signs on the booms as you drive
into the estate and have four automatic speed-monitoring
points to alert drivers about their vehicle speed.
We will continue to implement speed
enforcement measures by using a hand-held
radar device, for instance, as well as by
monitoring stop signs via video camera
operations to ensure compliance.
We kindly request that residents be
cautious, drive slowly and educate
their loved ones about road safety.
• Please keep within the speed
limit of 40km/h on Gleneagles
Drive as well as on the two roads
when entering the estate: Muirfield
Boulevard and Pebble Beach Drive.
The speed limit on roads in the rest
of the estate and in the game
reserve is 30km/h.
• Please stop at stop streets and
be mindful of animals and other
people, especially children.
• Only people with a valid driver’s
or learner’s licence are allowed to
drive golf carts.
