                                                                                 Careful  investigation  and  proper  processes
                                                                                 are  followed  to  ensure  the  best  outcome.
                                                                                 There is no such thing as bad maintenance or
                                                                                 blatantly ignoring the processes, procedures
                                                                                 and rules of the estate. The HOA team and
                                                                                 its committees are determined to safeguard
                                                                                 us  all  from  negative  situations.  Not  only
                                                                                 do  they  work  hard  to  keep  up  our  living
                                                                                 standards, they also benchmark us against
                                                                                 other estates to keep us at the forefront and
                                                                                 ensure we offer the “Best of Pretoria”.


                                                                                 We  are  deeply  appreciative  to  every  team
                                                                                 and  committee  member  for  striving  to
                                                                                 maintain the high standard of living that has
                                                                                 become synonymous with Silver Lakes.

                                                                                 As  you  all  know  from  communications
                                                                                 between  the  HOA  office  and  the  Board,  a
                                                                                 new committee has been appointed by the
                                                                                 Board: the Country Club Design Committee
                                                                                 (CCDC). Its work is to design a new facility
                                                                                 around  the  existing  clubhouse,  which  will
                                                                                 include all the facilities we have been voting
                                                                                 for on the questionnaires mentioned earlier.

                                                                                 The CCDC has been tasked with collating all
                                                                                 the years of data it can find, with committee
                                                                                 members  working  on  this  in  their  own
                                                                                 time.  This  committee  will  ultimately
                                                                                 work  together  with  members  of  other
                                                                                 standing committees – such as the Security
                                                                                 Committee  and  the  Environmental  and
                                                                                 Aesthetic  and  Architectural  Committee  –
                                                                                 to find solutions for problems that arise on
                                                                                 the  estate,  thereby  maintaining  our  idyllic
                                                                                 lifestyles.

                                                                                 We applaud all residents who are committee
                                                                                 members.  Not  only  are  they  prepared  to
                                                                                 set  aside  three  hours  a  month  to  be  on  a
                                                                                 committee,  they  also  use  their  own  time
