survive the test of time. We need to delete
old issues that have been resolved, add
new issues and include these into our
regular maintenance programmes. More
specifically, we need to identify:
- Experts to run the different issues
recorded
- A plan that identifies the environmental
effects; for instance, what water is
available for which purposes, the water
quality, etc.
- A plan that explains how we should
control everyone’s use of the
environment (in terms of water, spaces,
etc.). This relates to maintenance issues
and would involve the HOA staff and
outside contract workers
- A plan that will also help in managing
accidents and other issues
Checklists
We need the following:
- A checklist for our maintenance regime
– daily, weekly, monthly and yearly
- A checklist for staff training to do regular
and other more specialised projects
- A form to record any complaints
received regarding the site (golf course,
game reserve, gardens, etc.)
- A form to record any accidents or
incidents, with details about the actual
occurrence, date and time, etc.
Proposal for two new working
groups
We suggest that as part of the
Environmental Portfolio, two new
groups join forces with our specialised
homeowners. This will enable us to get
more input into all aspects environmental,
