Security
Fibre installation commenced at the end of
March, forming part of the infrastructure
required for the new speed cameras. The
first of these will be installed in the coming
months, with additional units rolled out
over the course of the year. This is one
of several measures aimed at curbing
speeding and traffic violations within the
estate.
Our security team has done an excellent
job in minimising vandalism on both the
estate and the golf course. In the year
ahead, we will focus on the preventive
maintenance of security equipment and
explore facial recognition access at our
gates.
Golf
With the 9th and 17th walk bridges now
completed, our focus will shift to other
bridges and dam walls around the course,
specifically the irrigation dam wall. The
cart path project and curbing maintenance
will also continue.
Congratulations to all those who have
represented Silver Lakes and brought home
silverware. Some of our achievements
include victories in the Mid-Am Ladies IPT
(Inter-Provincial Tournament), the Mid-
Am Ladies Division, the Men’s Handicap Spring Day celebration was once again a Lastly, it is worth noting the increase in

We successfully hosted the Bain’s Whisky
Ubunye Championship as well as the
IPT. We will soon be replacing the well-
used range mats, and we are looking into
installing cameras at the chipping greens
and driving range to help manage those
areas more efficiently.
Clubhouse
Several successful events were held over
the past year, including Movie in the
Park and Carols by Candlelight. Both the
Christmas in July Market and the Christmas
Market were very well supported. Our
