W ith the COvID-19 lockdown easing to
Alert Level 2 just in time for spring,
many more of us are likely to be on the
move again. That makes our main article
this month entirely appropriate, since it is a look at
Waterfall’s position as one of the country’s best-served
business and residential nodes in terms of transport.
Waterfall boasts world-class public transport, with
access from two of the busiest highways in the
country, a Gautrain station 4km from our central
business zone, two Gautrain buses circulating around
Waterfall City and the surrounding residential estates,
and no less than five fuel stations to keep everyone
going. We have also developed a taxi holding facility
and two taxi super stops, and have improved the
road system to keep pace with growth. With south
Africa’s only heliport and three airports nearby, it’s
easy to see why Waterfall is fast becoming the place
to be. Do have a read of our ‘All roads lead to Waterfall’
article to remind you of your transport options.
