Mooch is never far behind. In fact, it’s these personality
traits alongside his optimism, enthusiasm and energy that
first inspired us to ask Mooch to be the Waterfall mascot.

Mooch is extremely proud of his new position. He just
wishes his family could see him now – how chuffed
they would be! He wants to be a role model and an
ambassador for his animal and human family in Waterfall,
to teach them to respect the environment and each
other. He hopes to give good advice and warm cuddly
hugs when needed and be looked up to as a leader (or
maybe down to, as meerkats are not the tallest). And
he can’t wait to have fun with all the small humans!

Mooch’s motto is: “Always be kind. Don’t be a bully, be a friend.
Be caring, honest, responsible and respectful.” This is how he
was brought up, and he believes it’s the best attributes animals
and humans can have. He hopes to encourage everyone on
Waterfall to live by this motto because love always wins!

Being a mascot is not all work and no play. Since Mooch is
actually a teenager in meerkat years, he considers ‘fun’ his
middle name. His hobbies range from Hip-Hop dancing Currently, Mooch’s relationship status is single. There have
