Waterfall City retains title of
SA’S BEST

MASTERPLAN

W aterfall City has won the

Best Masterplan South
Africa 2025-2026 award
from the International
Property Awards - Africa Chapter.
The accolade was presented to
Waterfall City Management Company
(WCMC) at the International Property
Awards ceremony held in London
on 23 October. This is the second
consecutive year that the development
has achieved this prestigious title,
recognising the pioneering urban
design framework successfully guiding
the growth of this thriving smart city.

Along with this achievement, Waterfall
City received a nomination for the Best
Masterplan Africa award, a title the
development also won earlier this year
and was furthermore named as an Award
Winner in the Sustainable Residential
Development South Africa 2025-2026
category for the Waterfall Country and
Country Village Estates.

What’s more, Willie Vos, CEO of
WCMC, was honoured with a Special
Werner van Rhyn, Co-founder and Director of Waterfall City (left)
