Centurion Country Club Hosts Prestigious PGA of South Africa National Championship

During the week of 6 – 9 May, Centurion Country Club

had the honour of hosting the PGA of South Africa National
Championship. This event brought together 103 PGA
Professionals from across the nation, including club managers,
golf directors, teaching professionals, and operations managers –
all key figures in the golf industry.

At Centurion Country Club, we take pride in our team of PGA
members. Our distinguished group includes Jannes Sik and
Dwayne Coetzee from the Pro Shop, our General Manager
Gavin Woodroffe, Members and Function Manager Carmia
van Wyk, and Teaching Professional Kyle Phelan. We also have
two associate members, Conway Kunneke in the Pro Shop and
Donald Makhafola at the Driving Range. proud of the compliments we received regarding the condition of
our golf course.
Our golf course was presented in exceptional condition for
the Championship, a massive shout out must go out to our Congratulations to Jannie Botha, who secured a magnificent
Greenkeeper, Carl Buitendag, and his team. We are incredibly victory by finishing 8 under par across the three rounds.
