Centurion CC’s Trio of Champions

On Sunday, 20 July, GNGU hosted
the Age Divisions Champ of
Champions at Blue Valley Country
Club and our Centurion champions
did not disappoint! Three of our
very own rose to the occasion, each
claiming a coveted Gauteng North
Champion of Champions title.

Congratulations to Gary Lauryssen
and Gina da Silva for winning the
Mid-Amateur titles in the men’s and
ladies’ divisions respectively, and to
Lourenda Steyn for securing the
Junior title.

We are incredibly proud of these
members for representing Centurion
CC and performing at the highest
level. Well done, champions!

Captains Open Day 2025 - A Day to Remember

On Wednesday, 23 July,
Centurion Country Club
proudly hosted the 2025
Captain’s Open Day, led by
our dedicated Club Captains,
Abie Grundlingh and Suzette
Ruthven. This year’s event
was made even more special
thanks to the generous
sponsorship of Lebina Tsepe
and the Rotary Sands team.
A total of 17 clubs from across
the Gauteng North and
Gauteng regions were warmly
welcomed. Congratulations to
Team Pebble Rock for securing
top honours on the day!
Thank you to all the visiting
captains and clubs for making
the day such a great success.
