On Sunday, 27 July, while representing
the Centurion Country Club team at the
Standard International Regional Final held
at The Els Club, Nico Bonthuizen delivered
a moment to remember. Playing the
challenging 12th hole measuring 189 metres,
Nico hit the perfect shot a hole-in-one!
Well done, Nico!

Lourenda Steyn wins the Double

On Sunday, 27 July, Lourenda Steyn proudly
represented Centurion CC at Waterkloof GC
in the Gauteng North Region’s Champion
of Champions. In challenging conditions,
Lourenda rose to the occasion, finishing at
the top of the leaderboard to secure the
Open Division GNGU Champ of Champs title.
This victory completed an impressive double,
as just a week earlier she claimed top
honours at Blue Valley CC in the Girls Champ
of Champs. Congratulations to Lourenda on
this outstanding achievement!

Congratulations to Matthew Rossouw on
achieving every golfer’s dream — a hole-
in-one! On Monday, 4 August, Matthew
hit the perfect shot on the par-3 17th hole,
an unforgettable moment and a fantastic
accomplishment. Well done, Matthew!
