All-in-one computer cabinet offers wide-ranging protection
ilicon Engineering recently teamed up
with EverExceed to introduce a unique
Splug-and-play data centre computer
cabinet with all auxiliaries included. The
company’s Smart IT Cabin solution is a
simple plug-in cabinet, 42U rack size, for IT
professionals, saving huge amounts of time,
money and effort.
This solution, being highly integrated,
offers the advantage of having only one
standard cabinet to house and provide
constant operating conditions for all the IT
equipment. This unit is a real space-saver,
occupying only 0,7 m2. It’s sturdy too, with
2 mm double layer cold rolled steel, and
includes a special heat insulation material
which results in more energy saving.
The cabinet’s well-designed air
conditioning and air circulation system
ensures cleanliness, temperature and
humidity monitoring with alarm, thereby
extending the life of the IT equipment stored
inside. The system uses a quiet, built-in fan
which means that the unit does not need to
be installed in a separate room but could
even be placed in a busy office.
