Logicalis SA appoints Claudio Busacker as the new Cisco practice manager
Logicalis South Africa has appointed Claudio Busacker as its new Cisco practice manager. He will oversee the company’s
various Cisco offerings and consolidate Logicalis’ growing presence in the South African market. In this role, Claudio leads
Logicalis SA’s operational and project execution efficiencies, in conjunction with solutions architects and the sales team.
Busacker joins Logicalis SA with in-depth knowledge of Cisco’s suite of services across both private and public
sectors, having started his career at a Cisco premier partner. There he was responsible for managing the robust business
development relationships as well as driving, collaboration and customer service improvements. Busacker holds a BCom
Financial Sciences degree obtained from the University of Pretoria.
Bosch Rexroth SA group of companies appoints new CEO
The Bosch Rexroth South Africa group of companies has appointed Chris Riley, current general manager of Tectra
Automation, as the new group CEO, effective 1 January 2022. In addition to this role, Chris has been appointed as the Bosch
Rexroth group leader of sales unit for Africa. He succeeds Tillmann Olsen, who has been at the helm of the group since
January 2018.
Chris holds a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Degree. He brings a wealth of experience
to the group with 25 years across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, UK and USA.
Devan Pillay is Schneider Electric’s new cluster president for Anglophone Africa
Devan Pillay has been appointed cluster president, Anglophone Africa, for Schneider Electric, taking over from Albert Fuchet,
after rejoining the company last year as vice president for buildings.
Formerly the president of Signify Africa, Pillay comes with a wealth of experience that includes senior positions at Eskom,
GE (General Electric), 3M and Schneider Electric from 1998 to 2003.
